7Th Grade Science Fair Projects
This science fair project, which is suitable for 7th graders, teaches them more difficult scientific concepts, like electrolysis and plating.
Copper-plated coins for ages 9-16 Copper plating of coins can be done in two ways. You can either electrolyze your coins or you can electroplate them. Their scientific names will give you an idea: they are both powered by electricity.
The electrolysis method is the process of turning metals into acids, such as vinegar. You can run electricity through vinegar to help carry the electricity to one end of the circuit. The copper reacts with it so small pieces are released in the liquid. This is what you will notice when your solution turns blue.
These copper bits can be used for electroplating. Ionic copper bits can also be used for electroplating. The ions are just as attracted to things like charged up balloons. For them to run out of solution, you can add another electrified metalic. You will see a change in the color of your quarter. It takes just a very small amount of electricity for a quarter to be plated with copper through electroplating and/or electrolysis. It is not even a penny!
How to Split Water, Ages 9-16 This is why water gets its name H2O. It’s made of chemical elements like hydrogen and oxygen. Do you want to see water split into two parts? Take a look at the next experiment!
Paper Airplane Launcher – Ages 9-16
Rubber Band Helicopter (Ages 6, 16) Get to grips with helicopters. Make your own flying rubberband.

The science fair project 7th grade is an excellent way for kids to understand complex scientific concepts. This project should be fun, creative and engaging.
Science fair projects are a great way for children to learn difficult concepts. It is important that they are fun, creative, easy-to-try, and enjoyable.
Academics need to go far beyond what is written in textbooks and classroom walls. Projects for science fairs are an example of this type of learning. Here, even the most complex topics can be presented using interesting models and graphic representations. A little imagination can transform any topic into a gorgeous science fair project. The 7th grade science fair topic ideas are well worth the effort. Let students decide what topics interest you.

What are Some Science Topics for 7th Grade Students?
The focus of Grade 7 Science is to introduce students to a balance of life science, physical science, and Earth and space science. The concepts and terminology associated with Grade 7 Science will be delivered through the contexts of Interactions within Ecosystems, Mixtures and Solutions, Heat, and Earth’s Crust.
How do you choose a science fair project?
What does music have to do with animal behavior? How can the color of our food and drinks influence how they taste? Does music have an affect on plant growth? Which kind of food do dogs (or any animal) prefer best?
